What is Friends? It is the Parent/Teacher Organization of Evansville Day School. This indispensable group has long supported the school in so many ways.Every year, FRIENDS’ volunteers exceed expectations by volunteering in numerous activities such
as The Opportunity Shop, the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, hosting the Holiday Party, running the Book Fair, helping to organize and update the library, recreating the front office not to mention hosting the fabulous teacher luncheons and Appreciation Week! Needless to say, the FRIENDS stay quite busy. Several opportunities to
volunteer are available or, better yet, join in one of monthly meetings, the second Wednesday of each month. The first meeting this year is
August 27th in the Alumni Room at 8:15 am. If you would like to know more about FRIENDS activities, please don't hesitate to call Friends’ president Nona Justice at 812.476.3039.
