75 Years of Sitcoms Trivia hosted by Friends of EDS!

Gather a table of up to 8 of your smartest friends and get ready for an adults' night out! Friends of EDS is hosting its second fun-filled trivia night as part of our anniversary celebration. Tables are $200 per team, and the winning team will take home a cash prize of $200! Did we mention there's a costume contest too?! Dress up as your favorite TV sitcom cast to compete for prizes. A cash bar is provided by Carson's Brewery, and snacks will be available at the event. Team captains should purchase at table using the form below. You will be contacted the week of the event for your team name and list of teammates. All proceeds benefit our teachers and students through the Friends of EDS!

Each year, to commemorate Day School’s rich history of educational excellence, the Alumni Association honors an outstanding alumnus or alumna with the Founders Achievement Award, recognizing distinguished professional achievement, leadership, and service. Congratulations to John Breckenridge 1978 on being selected for this honor for his achievements in the theatre industry!

Alumni Pop Up Events

Calling all EDS Alumni! We want to help you gather together with former classmates in as Covid-friendly a way as possible! This year, we are encouraging alumni classes to create their own “pop-up events” any time after 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 6 and gather with graduating classes you knew during your time at EDS. These events can be hosted at a home, park, country club, restaurant, bar – whatever your group wants to do! In the coming weeks, we will post a list of pop up events on our website and facilitate a connection between organizers and those who are looking for a pop up to join. Right now, we are seeking organizers! If you are willing to be an organizer and get together a group of your friends, please reach out to Ryan Bixler-Rigg for more information!

Enjoy delicious food from local food trucks on the EDS campus! This family-friendly event is a fun way for past and present EDS families to come together. Stop by any time to pick up lunch, or bring lawn chairs to gather with friends outdoors on our beautiful campus while you enjoy the fall weather. Bruce Li and Mex Evansville by La Campirana have already confirmed, and we will be adding more in the coming weeks! Be sure to click "going" on our Facebook event page to get notifications about the latest updates!
