EDS Community

Come to the Evansville Day School all-school picnic and you will see EDS families and students of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures sharing ethnic dishes, spending time with one another, and mingling with faculty and staff. Attend the Day School holiday program and find grandparents, alumni, students, parents, and teachers hugging, reminiscing, and sharing stories about the EDS experience. Walk through the hallways of Evansville Day School and see retired teachers coming in to see visiting alumni, and parents collaborating to plan a teacher appreciation luncheon.

EDS is much more than a school. It is a family, founded in 1946 and built through the generations, thanks to the active engagement of students, parents, alumni, faculty and friends. From the Parents in Partnership initiative, to the Alumni reception in January, to Grandparent's Day in the spring, the community of EDS comes together throughout the year to celebrate the cooperative commitment of families and faculty to the student experience and to Day School’s history as the premier educational option in the region.
