Math Club inspires excellence, excitement, confidence, cooperation, and curiosity in the deep exploration of mathematical concepts and problems.
The Middle School club meets once a week after school and uses the nationally recognized MATHCOUNTS program as a resource guide. Students solve challenge problems, participate in STEAM activities, and compete in the annual MATHCOUNTS competition. Students also plan activities that promote excitement for math throughout the Middle School such as: Problems of the Month, Pi Day, Square Root Day, and more. For more information about the Middle School club, please contact club advisor, Krista Meyer.
Math Club is also available for students in Grades 2-4. The club meets once a week during lunch period in the Center for Academic Success where students learn a passion for mathematics through game-based exploration and fun. For more information, contact Heather Migdon, Director of CAS.
