Partnership with Parents

Evansville Day School enrolls students from different backgrounds at all levels from Jr. Pre-K through grade twelve, but once we are in school as a community, we share one mission and the same core values. In essence, the center of our work is developing good habits of mind and heart. This can only be accomplished through a true partnership with parents.

Our parents are vital to our Day School community and the success of their children. We encourage two-way communication between parents and all staff for the health and well-being of each student. Our parents are frequently on campus, active in the daily life of the school and creating their own lifelong friendships with fellow parents. Many of them will tell you that Day School feels like family.

“The gratitude that I feel for the twenty-one years (so far) that my kids have spent at EDS cannot be summed up in one post. I am thankful for so many things including caring and committed teachers, the exceptional education my children have received, the wide variety of extracurricular activities that my kids have participated in, and the feeling of family that we all have experienced at EDS. It’s a very special place!”
