International Speaker Series: Venezuela

Patricia Medina – Fulbright Foreign Language Teacher from the University of Evansville visited our campus and spoke to preschool-primary school students about Venezuela. She introduced our students to her homeland and talked about the music, geography, customs, and history. Students also participated in other fun cultural activities, such as coloring the flag of Venezuela. Ms. Medina also shared a fun game and spoke to 3rd and 4th graders only in Spanish.

Learning global languages as early as age three is another example of why Evansville Day School is producing students who are globally-minded, resilient, balanced, entrepreneurial learners, ready to assume leadership roles in the global economy of the future.
